SHIPPING & RETURN
We make every effort to ensure your shoes are shipped promptly.
All domestic orders are usually shipped within 3-5 business days from the date of your order. If there are any unexpected issues or delays in delivery, our customer care team will promptly inform you of the revised expected delivery date. Delivery times are 3-7 working days from the moment the shipping confirmation e-mail is sent.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
We proudly ship to all 192 countries worldwide. Orders are dispatched from our New Delhi studio and delivered through trusted international courier partners.
Please be aware that customers are responsible for any customs fees, duties, taxes, and tariffs incurred in the destination country. These charges are the customer’s responsibility and cannot be refunded.
All international orders must be prepaid; we do not offer cash on delivery (COD) for international shipments. We accept payment through all major international credit and debit cards.
Slash in Brackets cannot be held responsible for any currency changes or currency exchange rates any bank may have when exchanging the INR into any other currency.
RETURNS
While we always strive for your utmost satisfaction with your new shoes, if you’re still not completely happy due to the reasons listed below, please drop us an email at help@slashinbrackets.com and we’ll get back to you.
It is important that all products are returned in their original condition. We recommend trying your new shoes on a carpeted surface to prevent any signs of marks or damage on the sole. Returns that have been worn, used, altered or damaged will not be accepted. Additionally, a parcel returned after the prescribed time frame will also not be accepted. Products must be returned with the original branded boxes and dust bags, placed inside a protective outer box for shipping. Slash in Brackets reserves the right to accept or reject any return.
At Slash in Brackets, returns are possible only in the following scenarios:
SIZE ISSUES
If you find that the shoes you purchased don’t fit quite right, simply reach out to our customer service team via email within 3 days of receiving your order to initiate your exchange request. Exchange is offered only as a size replacement or store credit in this case.
TRANSPORTATION DAMAGE
We are very sorry your order did not arrive in a perfect condition. If you notice any damage to your product during transportation, please reach out to us via email within 48 hours of delivery. We record all products while they are being packed to ensure accountability. We will arrange for a pickup of the damaged product to our warehouse in the next 5 days. Once we receive the damaged item, we’ll take care of investigating the damage, repairing the product, and sending it back to you.
MANUFACTURING DEFECTS
In the unlikely event of a product defect, for which we are responsible, we’re committed to resolving the issue promptly. Please reach out with a photo or video showing the defect and we will arrange for a return pickup. Upon receiving your return, we’ll confirm its arrival and conduct a thorough quality check. We’ll then notify you of the final approval or rejection based on the condition of the item compared to the initial photos. If you require an exchange due to these issues, let us know. Please note that depending on your location and the necessary actions, the time for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
Note: Because we work with genuine leather and artisanal finishing, the following characteristics are not valid reasons for return or refund:
- Slight creases, grain variations, wrinkles, scars, or natural marks in the leather.
- Patina development, softening or creasing of leather over time.
- Slash Heel: The heel is wrapped in hand-cut Italian leather veneer. Minor cavities, surface cuts or irregularities are a natural result of this artisanal process and are not considered defects.
- Small pores, fibers, or surface irregularities in leather soles or stacked heels.
- Subtle inconsistencies in hand-finishing such as stitching, edge paint, or polish.
- Initial discomfort or stiffness during the break-in period (leather naturally molds to your foot with wear).
These are not imperfections but proof of authenticity and craftsmanship, making each pair unique.
REFUND
We do not provide any cash refunds. Refunds are only issued in the form of store credit. Products once delivered can only be exchanged for another product or store credit. Store Credit has a validity of 6 months from the date of issue and can be used for future purchases within that period. Store credit cannot be combined with any promotional or discount coupon code.
