Through their travels far and wide, co-founders Anamika Sethia and Tanmay Batra conceptualised slash in brackets. They are not only partners in business but also in life.

The founding spark behind the brand emerges from the blend of Anamika’s rich experience in footwear design, cultivated during her prestigious stints with fashion giants like 1774 Birkenstock in Paris, and Tanmay’s entrepreneurial prowess.

Anamika’s return to her homeland was driven by a deep-rooted passion and her lifelong dream of establishing her own shoe label. Partnering with her husband, who brings a wealth of business acumen, a diverse portfolio of successful ventures, and a shared passion for travel and exceptional footwear, they set out to create a brand that’s understated yet remarkable.
